Skintegra ROS/AC 10

ROS/AC 10 is a treatment emulsion with 10% azelaic acid, formulated to help even out skin tone and soothe skin prone to redness and acne.

Azelaic Acid:

Azelaic acid is a natural compound known for its potent anti-inflammatory effects. It soothes redness and helps reduce imperfections, making it an ideal ingredient for sensitive, inflamed, and redness-prone skin. The combination of azelaic acid, ectoin, and Cica components in ROS/AC 10 provides comprehensive care by supporting the barrier function and increasing the skin’s resilience to external irritants over time.

Adapting the Skin to Azelaic Acid:

When introducing products with azelaic acid, mild discomfort may occur as a transient side effect during the adjustment period, especially in sensitive skin. This reaction is not true irritation but rather increased sensitivity to the ingredient. The effect is heightened when azelaic acid is applied to damp skin, as moist skin is more permeable. Therefore, ensure the skin is completely dry before application.

Azelaic acid may also dry the skin. For sensitive skin, apply after a neutral hydrating cream has been fully absorbed to minimize discomfort. Once the skin adapts, all unpleasant symptoms are expected to subside, with full results visible after 8–12 weeks of use.
